Upmarket restaurant group, Restaurant Bar & Grill, today (19th October) announces the launch of a mouthwatering new autumn/winter menu across their five restaurants (Leeds, Liverpool, Marlow, Opera and Bank).

Renowned for their iconic restaurants, located in grand historic buildings, Restaurant Bar & Grill’s new menu showcases their dedication to serving the best in seasonal classic cuisine, unforgettable steaks, and premium wine selections, and promises guests an unforgettable dining experience.


The exquisite new menu features a range of classic seasonal dishes along with premium quality cuts of beef, sourced from across Argentina, Australia and the British Isles, from exceptional breeds including Black Angus, Hereford, Shorthorn and Belted Galloway, dry-aged for a minimum of 32 days to offer an outstanding depth of flavour.


The new menu follows investment into world class grilling technology, the Southbend Steakhouse Grill, across dedicated restaurants. The grill technology, adopted by esteemed US steakhouses, ensures a perfectly cooked steak every time, searing beef at up to 1000°F to lock in moisture for a tender juicy steak with a crisp, caramelised outer crust.


Seasonal cuisine is at the heart of the new menu with iconic dishes such as Celeriac au Poivre; a peppered celeriac steak served with baby spinach, hash brown and port & mushroom sauce, and Slow Roast Crispy Duck served alongside braised red cabbage, caramelised squash puree and spiced jus.


Restaurant Bar & Grill have also announced the launch of a distinguished new raw bar menu, where expertly sourced seafood takes centre stage. The menu features Colchester Rock Oysters, Yellowfin Tuna Tataki and a sharing plate for guests who would like to savour each premium raw seafood dish on the menu, perfectly paired with a selection of the finest garnishes and dressings.



A new lunch menu, available weekdays from 12pm to 5pm, joins the restaurants exquisite evening offering. Guests can experience elegant dishes such as Smoked Haddock Hash Brown, Spicy Shrimp Risotto, Steak Frites and Burnt Basque Cheesecake from £22 for two courses and from £27.50 for three courses.

Elevating guests dining experiences further, the restaurant which is renowned for its enviable wine selection celebrating the best producers and varieties from across the globe, have carefully curated a ‘Sommelier Suggestions’ menu along with an elegant new wine list that showcases the groups affinity for the finest wines.


Remarkable bottles include the Château Chavel Blanc from the Bordeaux region, part of the LVMH portfolio, and classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé ‘A’. The list also includes rare wines such as the Château Petrus from a small estate in Pomerol which produces very few bottles from the Merlot grape.

The Flat Iron team are thrilled to be bringing their single-minded commitment to serving remarkable steak at an affordable price to the city.

Flat Iron is set to open a two floor, 110 cover restaurant in the heart of Leeds, bringing its menu to the North of England for the very first time. Set to open on the corner of Albion Place and Lands Lane in the former Church Institute, Flat Iron will be conveniently nestled beside the Leeds Trinity shopping centre.


Flat Iron are continually celebrated for their quality offering and affordable pricing, making great steak accessible to everyone. The menu is led by the signature Flat Iron Steak; meticulously seam-butchered from the shoulder, the steak is tender, juicy and full of flavour. The menu also boasts an array of sides, including truffled macaroni cheese, crispy bone marrow garlic mash and homemade beef dripping chips.


The Flat Iron team have had roots in the North for over 10 years, with their own herd of cattle which has been reared under the watchful eye of third-generation beef farmer, Charles Ashbridge. Nestled in the hills above Sutton Bank in Thirsk, the Flat Iron herd thrive on luscious pastures, homemade hay, rolled barley, molasses and nuts. The Flat Iron herd beef features on the menu in their iconic Bearnaise Cheeseburger.


Leeds diners can also take their pick from the drinks menu, consisting of a curated selection of wine, cocktails and local draught beers. The team have their very own Flat Iron Malbec on offer, expertly blended using grapes grown in the Limoux area of the Languedoc in southern France.


When asked about the opening, Flat Iron’s Head of Beef, Fred Smith says “Yorkshire is the home of our Flat Iron herd, so it felt only natural to open a Flat Iron in Leeds with our very own beef just a few miles away. The drinks menu also includes a range of fine wines, including Chateau Haut-Brion Pessac-Leognan 1996, premium cocktails such as “Jiuzhaigou Hu” which is created with Roku, Aperitif Wine, Blue Curacao, Lemon, and Bitters. The menu also includes exclusive spirits, including The Macallan Sherry Oak (25-year-old).

The restaurant, which also boasts three private dining rooms that can accommodate between 11 and eight guests, isn’t just set to become a landmark destination for foodies, but also an after-hours hub of entertainment.


The site features a state-of-the-art adjoining karaoke venue, K-CUBE, where patrons can enjoy singing their hearts out in a private and stylish setting. The largest of the three private dining rooms also has its own private karaoke room.
