It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Harvey Nichols, who are embracing the season in a typically fashion-forward style. The iconic Leeds store is famous for its wonderfully festive window displays, impressive in-store activations, and sparkling events - and 2023 is no exception.

Not only is the famous Fourth Floor Brasserie revealing an indulgent winter and Christmas Dining menu, but they’re also unveiling its all-new all-weather terrace in collaboration with drink of the season Patrón El Cielo Terrace and Edible Arts Patisserie.

Designed exclusively for Harvey Nichols by the premium tequila brand, the new heated terrace will channel a sophisticated look with muted silver, green and gold tones which take inspiration from their stylish bottle design. The terrace has undergone its biggest makeover to date, making it the perfect cosy winter retreat to sip cocktails or take a break from shopping.

Created by top pastry chef Damien Wager, the Patisserie will feature a selection of creative, limited-edition flavours, exclusive to Harvey Nichols inspired by some of their very own Christmas ranges.

The Fourth Floor Brasserie is also pleased to announce its highly anticipated winter and Christmas Dining menu, which is filled with a myriad of inspired flavours. Starters include a rich Blue Cheese Mousse with pear and walnut, and a Tuna Eclair with oyster emulsion, cucumber, red wine vinegar jelly and crispy shallots.

Hot on the heels of this summer’s successful launch of hubb in Dean Clough, Halifax, the game-changing coffee brand has joined forces with the award-winning SALT Beer Factory to bring Leeds its first dedicated nitro coffee spot.

Located in the popular SALT Leeds tap on East Parade, the partnership will create a unique craft and coffee experience in the city centre designed to take city dwellers from the crack of dawn until midnight.

Customers will be able to enjoy the smooth, creamy taste of hubb nitro coffee alongside a carefully curated collection of freshly baked goods, ranging from flaky golden croissants to indulgent chocolate-filled pastries.

SALT x hubb will also debut a tempting thick cut sandwich menu, which will include a trio of generously filled options. The New Yorker will be loaded with slow-cooked salt beef, mustard mayo and sauerkraut, whilst the fragrant Pollo Pesto packs in oak-smoked chicken breast with pesto and sundried tomatoes. The Mozzarella + Tomato comes filled with creamy mozzarella, beef tomato, and salad.

SALT’s impressive selection of craft beers, cask ales, artisan wines and ten second pour on-tap cocktails that have earned the bar a cult following since opening in 2021 will sit nicely alongside the new offering, creating a one-stop-shop for craft and caffeine junkies alike.

The collaboration will also see the venue will undergo a significant glow-up, designed to welcome the innovative partnership and enhance the overall guest experience. The transformation includes an extension of the already significant bar to span the full length of the venue, creating a dedicated space for hubb’s own serving section which will blend seamlessly with the bar's existing vibe.

Nitro cold brew coffee is a trend that has been rapidly growing in popularity worldwide. Its smooth and distinctive taste, coupled with a natural sweetness and lower acidity, has made it a favourite among coffee aficionados.

Hubb Founder and former SALT Managing Director, Dr Nadir Zairi, said:

"I am super excited to be teaming back up with my SALT family and bringing the hubb nitro coffee concept to Leeds. By joining our craft coffee concept with SALT's craft beer and cocktails offering we are showcasing the evolution of the modern venue, catering to everyone from 7am to Midnight.’’

‘’hubb came about from a love of coffee and all the interactions that centre around coffee experiences. We can promise that love translates to our full menu be it a flat white, nitro cold brew or freshly baked pastry."

Set to launch to the public on Friday 27th October with free coffee for the first 50 customers, it’s only a short wait until the people of Leeds can get their SALT x hubb fix.
